Got a notification this morning, time to preload first soldier! Goes live tomorrow, looks like a very interesting take on the (admittedly tired) BR formula.

I believe it also has controller support at launch.

  It's free to play so that's to be expected. Need to wait and see if you really do need to spend or can just play/grind a bit normally.
