Can't believe my luck …

Turns out I'm not so lucky. I've had my order cancelled too. "We had an initial allocation of stock from our supplier; however this has now been exhausted due to the influx of orders directed to us from OzBargain." Doesn't seem to matter that I ordered mine before the influx. Penalised for sharing the love. That sucks.

… just pre-ordered one of these. Shipping date approx. 25 Nov 2021

A quick Google search hoping for news that Microsoft had released more stock of the Halo Infinite Console revealed that Sanity is selling pre-orders.

Get in quick. These things sell like crazy!

e-parcel delivery is $9.95 for me. Checking for stock levels shows that there is no stock in store yet, but it's not expected until Nov 25 so that makes sense.

Release date of 25 Nov matches official (now updated) release date for the limited edition console.

No image due to new listing, probably just created the product page.

      Well I just got back online at work to see what's happening with the orders, and I've got the cancellation email too. This sucks. I ordered before the influx from OzBargain but got swept up in the "cancel them all" tidal wave.

      This is what you get for trying to share the love. Probably would have myself a nifty new xbox next week if I kept my mouth shut.

        That's what I thought, they will just get the money from us then return it after 2-3 months. This is not nice especially Christmas time is coming and you can use the fund to buy other things.

          I did wait for order confirmation email, with information of expected ship date.

          Figured it was safe.

          If I waited till it shipped, I would've been waiting until the 25th Nov.

    Had one in my cart when the site went down l was able to complete the order when it came back up. Time will tell but I most likely just gave out an interest free loan.

    I've ordered when it was 2 minutes from posting the deal, 61 clicks and i got "sorry" email. So if i didn't get it no one literally did, UNLESS you're networked in some way to something with the business, staff etc. Sent them back a nice F you email.

    They can't even manufacture enough stock of the stock standard Xbox Series X let alone anything else. So what do they do. They start making a limited edition which they can't make enough of. So what are these scalpers doing to do when they do they secure this limited edition. Sell it on ebay for some thing like $2000 for an extremely hard to get Halo limited edition. The bots are what's going to secure these for the scalpers more than any one else.

    This is only feeding the scalper market.

      They disappear so fast because the scalper bots are automatically constantly scanning for it to order it up. An actual human can't be faster than an automated computer bot.

      These scalpers will be right on this Halo limited editon for a nice right big profit through ebay. They will be citing rare limited edition for about 3 times the RRP. They're going to take big advantage of this.

      I had shortcuts in my browser to Target/MS/Big W and Ebay. All with my account details saved in Chrome with shipping addresses all loaded.

      About a month ago, MS had stock (it lasts like two minutes max everytime it comes on). I had one in my cart already as I had missed earlier in the day, hit checkout and the rest is beautiful 4k history.

      I was looking for one for a mate, I got the notification last week or the week before that EB Games had them for pre order in store only. Told his mrs, she raced to the local EB and got one of the spot.

      Make sure of course that you have volume up on your phone and notifications for twitter switched on. I got the one in about three weeks after using this method.

        According to the lady I spoke to, they never had stock. It was a massive stuff up.

        The wording of the cancellation email turns out to be misleading. They never had stock. They perhaps thought their supplier had stock.
