LAN Parties were the best thing to ever happen in my early childhood into adulthood. So many close friendships that you just can't get nowadays with online gaming. Kudos to you guys for keeping it alive, even during these times.

      Thanks!

It's definitely been rough being unable to run in-person events for almost two years, but we're hoping that will just make people even more keen to get back into them next year!

  • as someone who's run and broadcast anz aoe4 weekly tournaments since release, i'm confident in saying that asking for 48 players minimum to run a tournament is a bit too ambitious.

Our hope is that, with an RTX 3080 laptop for the winner, we'll get a fair amount of interest.

Quick question - How do I become a Pro by Saturday 1pm to win that prize?

      • The nice thing about AOE4 is that it's a brand new game, so it'll be a more even playing field.

So its a competition not a bargain?

Normally you'd pay to enter a LAN competition, but they're promoting an end-of-year free entry and OP has specified this. Did you not read the description? Or just looking for a place to put a snarky comment in?

    • I enjoyed this comment

  • Any new fps games included like overwatch? I would be keen for that

The only FPS for this particular event is Halo.

  • Just a silly question do we need to buy AOE4 or free copy will be provided to play in this competition. Thanks

    • You'd need to have your own copy. If you happen to be a Gamepass subscriber AOE4 is included there, otherwise you'd need to buy a copy.

  • Is there a way to see how many players and what ranks have signed up for this? Wanna see if its worth dropping work for it.

    • There's no way to see who has entered ahead of time. But as far as I am aware there are no pro players signed up. Also, as it's limited to Australians only, a lot of the competitive player-base won't be able to enter.
