      Fair reply.
Just "gift" the additional box if working with a team or to family/friends…

  • +21

    Literally cheaper by the dozen…

But seriously, this on top of the 30 days of deals on McDonald's… This summer's going to be a rough one for me.

    • +7

      This summer?
More like every summer for me. šŸ¤£

    • +1

The struggle has been real since covid, pretty much.

      • +3

True. Lockdown and fridge near homdesk = chubby bunny

    • +7

In Victoria thereā€™s no spring or summer yet.

      • +8

        we get summer?

        • +4

Yeah it arrives in March and we get it for 3 days before the onset of large hail and storms.

          • +1

@iNeed2Pee: yes this….i cant remember the last time we had a solid summer weekend not followed by hail-stones the size of bowling balls the next day

            • +2

@ExtraSalt: Climate change is for real. No doubt about it. Al Gore was right.

        • Two days every month

      • +1

You guys get 4 seasons in a day.

  • +1

    why would they exclude SA….

    • +9

Weed and donuts is too much of an exacting thing, SA is excluded for the obvious.

    • +10

Krispy Kreme South Australia are an independent Franchise owned by the Peregrine Group

    • Because they want to look after the state .

    • -3

      Because itā€™s SA šŸ˜‚

    • +1

Another example of the OTR monopoly. The same reason we don't get any of the BP perks such as Qantas points and Amex offers.

      • Very interesting wiki page on OTR in Australia…..

    • Because SA is Sugar Anonymous and they aren't allowed there.

  • +1

Do the Krispy Kremes brought from one of their stores taste different to the ones at 711? Because those are shit.

    • +7

I'd assume the ones at their store would have a higher chance of being fresher so would taste better.

    • +22

The donuts are better at Hungry Jacks.

    • +4

Call them up and ask when they cook fresh - they are unreal straight off the conveyor belt. It's warm and melts in your mouth - it's almost completely different to the 7/11 ones.

I can't stand the 7/11 versions, but the fresh ones are probably in my top3 dessert options.

      • My store (Fountaingate, VIC) gives free sample too with any purchase when their light is on. Not sure if itā€™s all stores like that

  • +2

Never any love for SA Krispy Kreme lovers…

  • +1

If you donā€™t want to eat 24 in one sitting, you can freeze 12 of them. Apparently it freezes well.

    • -7

Seriously , I knew we would find someone with no taste buds on the thread lol :)
Fresh or not at all .

      • +2

Nothing wrong with giving people options. If you microwave them, it still tastes pretty good.

        • -3

Yeap you might as well join the Dumpster Diving Crew too for extra flavour .

          • +1

@popsiee: No, these keep surprisingly well. Have you even tried it before putting it down?

            • @buckethat: They keep well but do not taste good if not fresh.

      • Exactly. If their light is not on keep driving.

        • :o is that what the light means??

The one on Albany Highway has this big red round street sign (on the side of the road) that I almost never see on, always thought it was a waste to have installed it but not use it.

          • +2

@nzcoops: Yeah they turn it on whenever they are running the line making them.

    • +3

Yes because eating 12 in one sitting is a good idea

      • +1

Tell that to others who wanted to eat 24 fresh donuts in one go, that was a better idea.

        • +5

24 is smarter than 12, who brags about drinking 12 beers when you can drink a slab.
This is Straya, step up son.

  • +5

If its anything like the previous couple of deals I've been to, its that its not fresh. And I will see you guys there

    • Sold out for me last couple of deals.

  • -1

Instore only. Can't imagine the lines that day

  • +1

Drive through at Liverpool is going to be very long.

  • Can this be stacked with the deals on Liven?

    • You mean their food dollar? Yes, only work in-store though as u canā€™t use Liven to pay their online order. Did that for previous promo

More than 17,000 Australians died from diabetes-related illness over the past 12 months, as another 120,000 were diagnosed with the nation's fastest-growing chronic disease.

Currently, about 1.9 million Australians suffer from diabetes, with case numbers skyrocketing by 30 per cent over the past eight years.

    • +1

This is great except for the fact that those stats donā€™t show the differentiations between type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The differences are so significant that we need more recognition for type 1 diabetes as it has nothing to do with being ā€˜overweightā€™.

    • +1

All we worry is the "other thing" somehow…

    • Isn't diabetes caused by overconsumption of carbs, not just sweets?

      • Thereā€™s often a strong correlation between calories and carbs. Donuts are carb-rich

        • +2

          What?

        • +1

aren't fats the thing that have the highest calories per gram? 9 calories per gram while carbs are 4 calories per gram?

        • 1g of protein has the same amount of calories as one gram of carbohydrate (excluding alcohol).

          1g protein = 1g carb = 4kcal
          1g alcohol = 7kcal
          1g fat = 9kcal

(From memory… haven't been super focused on this stuff for a while).

Fats have a much higher correlation with calorie density than anything else.

Recommend liven for 100% bonus food dollars which u can use with this offer

  • *(sound of cricket chirping)

  • As usual excluded SA.

  • +2

The fact theres a KK and a Mcdonalds in Auburn NSW is gonna kill me

  • can you order on the day and pick up at a later date

  • +1

Its a pity that some KK stores at airports are not fresh. They are pretty much the same variety they sell at 7/11

  • dang it i just bought some, i should have waited :(

regular price is $21 for a dozen and $31 for 2 dozen

i bought 2 dozen because it is a better value

  • So why does SA miss out?

  • pity no store near where i live.. i would smash these.

  • +1

If you buy 2 dozen for $31, will you get an extra 2 dozen? Asking for a friend.

    • You won't get the $31 price. It will be $21 x 2.
Source - just bought 2+2 dozens.

  • World they accept liven with this promo?

  • Would they accept liven with this promo?

    • +1

      Gotta try tomorrow! They should!

    • +1

      Yes, I used liven today.

      • What's liven?

Edit: nvm, found it just below.

  • Reckon it's limited to 1 per customer? T&C's don't say so (will get 2 doz for the office, but 4 doz if they let me…). Also, serious question, does anyone know how to transport 2-4doz donuts on an electric scooter…the boxes don't quite fit in one of those enviro-friendly green bags do they? Bring smaller containers & re-pack?

    • She told me "limit of 6" (unsure if that's 6 dozen + 6 free or 3+3) but was essentially happy to give me as many as I wanted. And Krispy Kreme sell one of those enviro-friendly bags that fits a dozen-box footprint perfectly (slightly longer than the normal green bags), it was either 50c or $1

  • Are these in store only? I clicked on the Instagram post and it says excludes "SA, delivery, online", etc. Bit confused.

Also has anyone ordered these and they arrived aesthetically OK (aka not damaged /smashed up)? My friend ordered a dozen a few months ago And they arrived smashed up, aka all the icing broke off from each donut

  • Anyone can answer is it available in NSW Parramatta kiosk?

  • Well, can confirm liven works comes out to $63.80 for 8 boxes to share with friends and family.

    • What is liven and can any one get it?

      • +1

Liven is just another payment method but uses credits you have to buy first, what's nice about it is you get some sweet bonus credits from it. Yes anyone can get it. Here

    • how did it work out to that price? shouldnt it be under $50?

      $50 = $100 of KK credit.

      buy 4 boxes = $21.95 x4 = $87.8 (gives you 4 free boxes so 8 in total).

      total 8 boxes = $37.80 (with $12.20 credit remaining)

    • Did you buy in store or online + delivery?

      • Liven dont do delivery

  • +1

Well I'm off to buy one dozen of the pick your own. Hopefully it's not too busy at the Whitfords store.

  • Combining with Liven deal, you end up paying $14.48 for 2 boxes.
