Yep they taste pretty good. I think Ansungtangmyun is generally more popular. Soon has a bit more of a 'healthier' taste. They're both less spicy compared to Shin Ramyun.
Thanks
doesn't matter, steep discount is the signal to buy. lol
Good price but expiry too soon.
What's going to happen?
Bacteria or mould happens
no, but the oil in the noodles becomes rancid over time and starts to smell foul. should be fine for a year or so though…
It's dehydrated?
@decc0: It is dehydrated.
I'm pretty sure it is best before, not expired.
Pretty sure we still can eat it for another month or two
Nothing happens apart from them getting eaten at my household.
It's not an expiry date. It is a best before date.
Not sure if your comment is pun intended.
Soon has a weird aftertaste, as a word of warning, if anyone hasn't tried it before and thinking buying a short dated carton box
I've eaten these things ~18 months after the best before date, and they still tasted fine, I didn't get food poisoning or anything, either.
These are BBF dates, not expiry dates. Should last until the zombie apocalypse.
facts
i accidentally ate noodles that were 2 years expired. im still alive. it actually didn't even taste old or anything. probably because i like my soup hot and my taste buds have been burnt off.Can you try one that's expired 5 years as well?
sure, i messaged u my address and banking information
This.
People need to stop stressing about these dates - they are best before, not deadly after.
Dry goods, canned stuff and everything fermented usually lasts far longer. Conversely, something could be off even before it has "expired". Luckily we have well developed senses, so I would suggest relying on those rather a pretty random number on a packet. What about meds that are expired?
There is a distinct difference between "best before dates" and "expiry date". The first one means the item is very likely ok until that date (and usually still ok after), the latter means you better not use it because it actually expires and might have adverse impacts. Pretty much all food stuff has a best before date only, and that is what I am referring to in my rant above: most people think a "best before" and "expiry" date are the same, but they mean very different things.
Depends on the med.
Generally past the expiry the chemicals within medications can degrade (you can slow down by storing at correct temperature humidity etc)
Some medications e.g. crystallise and become useless, others change in concentration (usually lower but still work). Pretty complicated stuff. Depends on the med reallyThe date on medication is when the manufacturer guarantees the dose indicated on the label.
For most medications there is no harm in taking them years after the indicated date
best before means that they can no longer guarantee the food is fine, but it should still be fine for a while after (you should check before consuming though). expired means they recommend not to be eaten after that date. depending on how they are stored best before items can last way longer then listed, they just have to give it a general date that fits the minimum amount of time, i feel like its more of a legal thing then an actual date.
Wash it down with soju to kill bacteria
Soon Ramyun is actually pretty good given its a "vegetarian" ramen. Obviously add an egg to make it a proper ramen.
Steep discount , are these any good
