I current use this, mw3 and deco m5 (but at different sites)
More features on the tplink app but for the price the mw6 & mw3 work great.
I rate the TP-Link Deco S4 which you can get around the same price point at normal price and down to $126 on sale.
Real noob question but is there a "base" unit as such? Or could I use 2 and give the other 2 to my brother?
You can use one or 6. There is no base station. I'm a noob and it was so easy to set up . I have a large highset cavity brick house and the three cover everywhere. Really happy with them

Been using the 3+1 pack for a month. Very easy to setup and works ok. I noticed that ocassionally one or two of them goes offline (light up red) but comes back after nightly reset. Was using the Kogan 3-pack before the these MW6 and I never noticed Kogan ones go offline.
Anyone have any thoughts on this compared to other mesh systems?
