      I get them through the Code Alert: BL3 Android app, Pro version was free awhile ago.

      Still haven't got a use for the keys though, (Golden or Diamond), the stuff available in the chest is always lower spec than what I've picked up somewhere.

      Close to 300 Golden keys and 17k Eridian. Only store worth looking at is the Black Market, at least you can get something decent and then re-roll it for 250 Eridian to try for better Annointed effects.

      Still using a level 65 gun on level 72 character because I can't find anything better … Lol

        I agree, compared to the previous games the golden chest is kind of redundant considering how this game dispenses high end gear.

          @boozed: I haven't started BL3 yet - what's the best level to start using the keys I have collected? Obviously if I use them early I will outgrow the weapons quickly.
          At what point is it more worthwhile?

            @CBrads4: Honestly I got minimal use out of it, it won't be long before you have to choose between multiple orange items in every slot. They drop far more frequently than in previous games, appear in the vending machines all the time and the vending machine prices are very much lower across the board. The level scaling is also feels bit closer to BL1, so weapons are effective for longer.

            They might be useful for when certain equipment slots open up such as the class mod or artifact, so you can get something decent straight up.
