I know there are many watch enthusiasts on OzB, so I want to tap their collective knowledge.
My teenage daughter wants a basic non-smart watch.
Most watches make her wrists come out in an itchy rash, which our doctor says is most likely a nickel allergy, but recommended steering clear of any metal contacting her skin, including stainless steel. (I guess surgical steel or titanium would be ok, but we’re not talking that price range.)
Style wise, she’d like thin and light - something more like Swatch Skin than, say, Baby G - but all the Swatch watches seem to have a metal battery cover on the back.
Any suggestions from the experts?
