  • Does this take a long time to cook (compared to a basic rice cooker)?

    • Quick mode usually takes around 25 mins

      • Yes but Regular/White mode takes close to an hour…

        • +2

Good things come to those who wait.

  • I have this, but it's been cheaper on Amazon and it seems to go down to $139 regularly. It's a good rice cooker, especially for white rice. Jasmine is fluffier but usually sticks, could be my configuration though.

    • +1

amount of water you put might be a factor.

    • too much water and also dont take the rice out too fast. when it's done cooking leave it for another 5min in cooker

  • -1
    • That's a different model

  • 10 cups is alot actually. i think 1 cup of jasmine rice = 2 bowl servings, so 10 cups means quite a bit to feed an hungry crew.

So if your family consumes 3-4 bowls, this 10 cup cooker will consume more energy that you dont need?

  • This looks very very similar to the Aldi version that is around $50. I wonder of its the same product 🤔

  • This def looks like the$50 Aldi one. Does this one also spill water into the element when you open the lid?
