This is the absolute cheapest I have seen these. They range from about $560 - $999 in Australian retail stores

One word of advice I hear from many - When charging remove the back piece slightly out of the helmet to reduce strain which breaks the solder on the weak charging port

Great price compared to local sellers, but these have gone for under $350 in the past. According to camelx3, $325 is best price. But AUD is noticeably weaker than before.

As for the product itself, significantly slimmer than other offerings. Reduces wind noise from having a bulge out the side.

    • Wow $325?! I bought and canceled an order at $408 recently thinking that was cheap and then saw it drop to the current price

Under $400 is already a good price. As long as your friends all dont use Sena (why would they go ahead and buy this :<) then you'll be happy with the purchase.

If you have a mate, getting the duo bold is much cheaper per unit.

I have the bold, and I usually remove the detachable unit from the helmet to charge it.

I buy the aliexpress ones and it kind of does exactly what Cardo do for fraction of the price..

    • Nice! How are they with shipping/ warranty? I can see they are in Europe so I am not sure of their shipping and returns vs Amazon

be wary of the Slim, you can't take it off your helmet to charge since it's inbuilt and the micro usb port is known to break away from the PCB board. This is becuase people put it down on the cable as they charge.

    Better off getting the Bold.

youtube is your friend if you want to look into it.

    • I like the slim more-so for the button layout. I did mention in the post about the poor usb port.

How easy is it to break the charging port? I have read that slightly lifting the battery pack removes stress but I don't have one (yet - being delivered)

  • Paid $376 when I got it from Amazon, before end of financial year.
