  • Seems like a good price - Im a basic weekend comp level player/battler - any idea on which strung model is going to suit best/recommended grip size? Im coming from a 15yr old Head so its going to be an improvement no matter what!

    • You really need to test them out if you can. I have a 10 year old head extreme and hated this racquet. All down to personal preference and play style.

    • Babolat have a few in their range which are all very different. Try them all and you will have your answer
      Pure drive: power, some spin
Pure aero: lots of spin some power
Pure Strike: less spin and power, more control.

Don't make the mistake of going for the drive just because you want power above all else, I find I always hit long with the pure drive, but it's great for big serves.

  • I can see you have Yonex AX88S (3U & 4U) and AX88D (3U) on sale. Could you offer the same price for the AX88D 4U if I buy two?

    • The Red/Green 88D 4u5 has been sold out and discontinued.

  • Have both the areo and drive. Playing with drive more now. With the right tension and strings you can make it more controlled.

    • +1

i was going to add .. with the correct stringing you can get the spin you need also
my games very spin-focussed but it is nice to be able to switch gears for a power shot when needed
the PD just feels like a good balance for me but yes, default strings you get a very light spin

      • Well said
