Heard from a mate that Patterson River Golf Club is having a promotion for 23-29 year olds. $1000 for membership, full price was $3000+. Seems like a bargain!

Yeah, these promo's have been around for ages for exactly that reason. Remember way back when i was working at a golf club in highschool (~15 years ago, damn) the membership fees were ~50% off for young members (<30 or 35 from memory), as there was only a small % of members in the age groups.
