Wow I missed those. Thanks for letting me know
It's like $100 off it's cheapest price
Need a good deal on a crystal ball to see if black friday sales will trump this
Honestly, I don't think so. Boxing day maybe.
I also doubt it given the supply issues atm and this is a relatively new model. Although I found last year's boxing day sale disappointing and bought more things during black friday
If it hits 2500 this year, I'll buy it. but I don't think so
whats a good deal on a non-oled 65" from a major brand please?
Depends hisense has the u8g for around $1450.
Samsung qn90a is too expensive to justify buying right nowbut the u8g isnt the same as the international model and the australian version has sub par reviews
Gosh I hate those practices.
Samsung did that with the qn90a as well didn't give us a va panel
C1 65 oleds $3045 today at p and s electronic , priced match good guys picking up today š
You're getting it from tgg or p&s?
@kazer: The good guys they matched there price.
@Kyles1981: Haha nice. P&S sell factory seconds. In this case, the condition is carton damaged. Lucky for you the rep dint know
@kazer: Worth a try if anyone's looking for a bargain give it a go.
You are very lucky. Factory seconds are not something they normally price match
@maverickjohn: Not only that there's a shortage of them around in my area only place left with stock is jbhi, they will go very quickly if they go on sale for black friday.
@Kyles1981: I ordered mine today from jb for $3039 + $347 for an additional 3 years warranty. The rep said it covers OLED burn ins too for 5 years total so very happy. The rep did say there's plenty of stock at the melb warehouse.
@kazer: Good buy ya got there well done, enjoy mate! I know I will be these hoildays.
@kazer: How did you get this price at JB?
@Littlewolf00: Lg had this pricing for over two weeks on their website. So I'd called jb and gotten it price matched then but dint go through with the purchase. Just called em again and told em I want it for the same price and they were happy to oblige.
@Littlewolf00: I also used a screenshot posted by another ozb user who got it for $2999 to strengthen my negotiation. Here's the link.

This will be controversial Here,
65sx from Hisense at the sub 900 price point was a killer deal.
Bought mine and have 0 regrets, awesome tv for movies and tv.
@ups I got a 65" x9500h for $1830 a few weeks ago. Anything <$2k is a steal. Hopefully there's stock near you though as it's last years model.
Whats so good about this LG OLED TV? It costs alot more than other brands?
It is the best 65 inch OLED TV rated by Rtings.
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/best/by-size/65-inch
The C1 is targeting a very specific market segment (console gamers and movie enthusiast). Normally people who ask why is this a good tv is not the target market.
Interesting, I never know it can support hdmi 2.1
So are the panels the same as the other one A1? If I dont play gaming, what would be the TV for me in the LG range? Thanks
LG A1 would be a great choice however the price is not far off. For a few hundred dollars I'll get the C1.
G1 beats it in every category (https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/g1-oled) but I think C1 gets the nod because it's slightly cheaper. C1 still a great TV though.
It is better on paper but if you go to a store and have them side by side, you will struggle to see the difference despite being 20% brighter. I will only consider a G1 if im adamant on wall mounting for that flushed look.
G1 doesn't come with a stand, you have to buy separately. Although it's probably not going to be $999 like the Apple stand.
@nomadspartan: It comes with legs in AU, it just doesn't come with the fancy "gallery" free-standing tripod stand
All 4 HDMI ports support 2.1
Basically it is up to the consumer. Is he looking for the best experience in a TV? Is that TV in a dark room? Does he play console/pc games? Does he have a budget of more than $3,000?
If it's yes to all of that then get this one.
What about if NO GAMING but still want a good TV, which range would you recommend in the LG range. I like LG TV.
how is powerland as a seller? are they worth buying from?
I've never had a problem
They called my mate today saying they were going to deliver it so 24 hours delivery in this case. I'd say pretty darn good
Apparently as they're not an authorized reseller for LG, LG don't have to honour the manufacturers warranty.
Doesn't matter in Australia, it just goes back to the shop.
TV consumer rights is probably the securest deal you can have in Australia.
Powerland are Betta which is on the LG 'Where to buy' list
Ah its so tempting - $2967 when using 3% eBay vouchers too
Have you got links to that so I can include in OP
From Union Shopper
Yep from a few places - Suncorp group (like a suncorp bank account, gio insurance policy, aami insurance policy) just a note that they do have purchase caps so you'll need to have stocked up ahead of time /have lots of accounts
$2967 when using 3% eBay vouchers too
Max voucher amount that can be used on eBay is $1500, so actually $50 off.
Oh is it? Bugger
Good thing you told me šStill a good price though.
Waiting on a good deal on the 77" or 83" hopefully soon
Which OLED will be best in 83" size?
I'm mainly looking at the LG C1 83" since i'm in it for the gaming features.
I got the 77" C1 for $5695 delivered from TGG. It's an amazing TV and not a terrible price.
I think I would pounce on a deal like that.
I just called their sales number and asked to match another online retailer. No questions and next day delivery.
Right when my wife has given the approval! Expired!
buy first, tell your wife later. Rookie mistake!
yea that code didnt have Long left
any good deals on the C1 55 from JB ?
Iām still rocking a 65ā Panasonic VT60A Plasma. What would be the best 65-75ā OLED to upgrade to primarily for movies? All I care about is natural colours and motion
They say the Sony A80 or 90 are more suited for movies where the C1 has a slight advantage for gaming but Rtings has a great comparison tool you can compare
I bought this one and the 48" a few months ago they are great tv's, highly recommend.
how is the sound comparison of the C1 & the G1? Can either or both of them do great quality sound? or is a separate sound system a must anyway? if the latter, than springing for the slightly better picture & smaller footprint of the G1 might be good for me.
Their sound is always crap and their smart TV features are just ok. I really wish I could just get a dumb panel. Shield for smart TV, 5.1 setup for sound. You could use a sound bar if not too fussy.
I just ordered lg c1 from videopro for $2950. Apparently, this is their black Friday pricing which they could do now. Get in fast before they go out of stock
for the 65? no discount on the 55 ….
yes for the 65. I dont know the pricing of the other sizes. Call them.
Great price but not cheapest. It's been under $3K.
