Choice magazine gives it a thumbs up:
In our lab tests, our experts rated it 'very good' for general performance and ease of use. It's cheap, versatile, and does the job well, creating golden snack-sized pies in under 15 minutes. While our oven-baked pies turned out more flaky and golden, the pie maker was quicker and is easy to use.
Kmart Warragul also had a few of these about 3/4 weeks ago when I was out there last, picked up one but haven't opened it yet so can't comment.
Pettily, I'm glad to see it didn't dip lower in price tbh.
Is that how Macca's makes it's hot pies?

How much faster is it then using an oven for frozen pies ?
