Are these different to the ones at Bunnings?
https://www.bunnings.com.au/search/products?q=inkbird&sort=B…
Bluetooth v WiFi?
Bunnings one is BT only (IBT-4XS), Ebay one is Wi-Fi only (IBBQ-4T)
And this WiFi model > BT model.
Since its WiFi it'll work with your phone regardless of where you are as long as your phone has WiFi or a signal (handy to keep an eye on temps when you have to race to the supermarket when you run out of foil).
BT you have to be within range (10 - 20m usually - depending on your house you may not always be connected)
Shows as $101.49 for me using PSSDS22
Even better!
sorry $101.79, I know OZBers can be pedantic :-)
Ok then I'm out.
thank you, ordered
I have exactly the same combo …they are pretty good and I have found them to be reasonably accurate … Only negative being that the colourful material on the probe gets pretty hot when left inside smoker ..kinda defies the whole purpose..but other than that, they are really good and great price !
And yes the wifi connectivity is great … No issues till now !
Good to hear! Can't wait to learn low and slow bbq
Wait for black Friday.
I would wait until they are sub $100, commonly on sale for 90 or less
$119.99 drops to $93.59 using this item link (after 22% off code)
Nice, that one is just the thermometer though?
Yeah, sorry, just showing the deal if anyone only needed the thermo (no pen)
You're getting the pen for < $10 it retails $30 is…
@poxy001: Yeah, but what about if you don't want the pen and rather keep your $10
@kickling: What if you sell the pen for $30 and pocket the $20?
This is the way
Anyone receive theirs is it shipping from China?
