Best Multi Port USB-C Charger?

I’m chasing a multi port usb c charger, for minimum 4 devices- 2 phones and 2 tablets, all USB-c. Bonus if it can power us can laptop too.

I’m having trouble finding anything with more than 2 ports!

    3 USB C ports(2 with PPS) and 1 USB A ,

    Cheaper through AliExpress

    • Do you have that charger?

And this is a bunch cheaper, just without the Type-C

    • Thanks. I have heaps of multi USB-a chargers. Really want a neat usb-c solution!

  • Aren't usb A to C cables much more common than C to C? There are heaps of USB A chargers with multiple ports.

All my devices are USB C but I use 5 Port USB A charger.

    • Nope, I have heaps of c-c. Mainly I want to use pd for the higher power at lower current

USB-A chargers don't support the USB-PD standard so they will cap out at 12W (5v 2.4A) for non-QC devices (including Apple) or 18W for QC

USB-C PD chargers can go up to 100w and can be used for laptops, mobile phones, handheld consoles etc

I'm in the same boat as OP; I want a nice multi port PD charger to run my laptop (100w), iPhone (20w) and iPad (27w) at the same time but apart from the Heymix, there are not a lot around at a reasonable price. Of course it would be rare that all devices need that full power at the same time but I need that full 100w laptop power when under load with nothing else attached

  • Also check if the charge speed with meet your expectations. Charger may not support the PD version your devices expecting.

    • Really, 4x20w would do, but ideally something like a 1x100w +5x20w would be idea

What charging protocols are the devices? Do they all support PD? Are some Qualcomm's quick charge?

Just specifying the wattages is not enough.

Also look out for multiport chargers that "share" power between ports. The heymix one I'm using has like max 60W on usb-c port, but as soon as you use the other ports everything drops back to 10-20W

        • Currently all PD but will be good to be qc capable too!

    • Getting closer, would love more usb-c though!!

  • I've been told that the HEYMIX chargers briefly disconnects all ports when a device is plugged.
That might be a deal breaker if you're powering something without a battery, or something that is slow to ramp charge.

  • I’ll confirm when I receive it. Shouldn’t be an issue for me though!
