I tried used both Smart Life and Kogan Smarter Home app to pair these WIFI plugs but none seem to work. The apps cannot locate these plugs even after factory reset.
It was working perfectly fine for the past 12 months and suddenly it stops working.
Just wondering if anyone using Kogan Smart Wi-Fi plug has the same issue with pairing?
These are just Tuya devices….. So nothing to do with Kogan bricking them at the 12 month mark.
Maybe something is broken from the Tuya end, try again tomorrow.

Mine are still going okay (after around 9 months) (at least the ones that had not been accidentally damaged by pouring water on them, and the one the already came defective from Factory).
Which ones exactly did you have ?? there's 2 types of Kogan wifi plugs

I have the one with USB in it (slim one)
It's the one on 2nd link. I got 4 of them and they all stopped working. No idea what has happened as it was rock solid.
@arctan: I have the same set of 4 and they’re still going ok. Hasn’t been an year yet though, your predicament is making me nervous!

I've had a few different brands stop working when I used over 10 amps.
2 of the 4 I bought have died. One device cannot switch power and the other one started buzzing and stopped switching.
Would not buy again.
just adding it here, mine died after almost 2 years.
the only part that is dead is the main plug, the 2 usb ports on top are still working
