Yeah I only buy on sale and they havent been on sale in over a month at my woolies so was getting desperate. the stocks were running low.
70 gram tins $1.45 ,it's cheaper to buy the real tin tuna for humans @aldi or on sale colesworth .
i heard tuna for humans isn't that good for cats if they're fed it regularly
Why's that? I've been doing a half/half only because I thought the human stuff would be better.
It isn’t complete. It lacks nutrients your cat needs.

We give our girls a bit of raw meat, poached chicken, Ziwipeak canned, Feline Natural canned, Ziwipeak air dry and fancy feast broth.
nope… definitely stop doing that. it should be a treat only.
My Cat loves Applaws …Thanks
Just be aware this is not a complete food for your cat.
My cats have kinda gone off it by now, sadly. They'll happily wolf anything else down. Little buggers.
Give it a little while they tend to wax and wane. My little ones are quite fussy. We end up with half lots of food around the house but the bowls are, usually, empty by morning.
Yeah mine love something for a month and then decide they dont want it. Complex creatures.
Sometimes I wish cats were more like labradors; they eat anything.
Previous prices I'd found at Woolies this year:
- $1.25, 8x70g cans for $10 (19 Feb) (31 May)
- $1.31, 8x70g cans for $10.50 (8 July)
- $1.31, 8x70g cans for $10.50 (9 Sept)
It's certainly not the cheapest price I've seen but to be fair these prices are mixes of mostly fish (Eg. of 8 cans, only 2 are Chicken) & if your cat likes chicken, its the jam.
