After the success of the XiaoXin Pad Pro 2021 deal I had requests for the 13" Yoga Pad Pro and Banggood have been able to provide a discount. It retails for £699.99 / AU$1279.79 at Lenovo UK and US$679.99 / AU$924.06 at Lenovo US so this is a good price.

This tablet is quite different to others as it has a built in kickstand and a Micro HDMI port for display input, so you could use it as an external touchscreen monitor for your Nintendo Switch, Laptop and more. There's also USB-C video out so you can mirror the display on a TV or monitor. The 13" LTPS 60Hz display has a resolution of 2160x1350 with 400nits brightness, 100% sRGB and Dolby Vision.

It has Widevine L1 with Netflix/Amazon HD support and a global ROM so there's no need to sideload Google Play or Netflix. For sound there are 4 JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos.

For reviews I recommend checking out Techtablet's indepth review showing it in action with the Pros & Cons.

Other features include Android 11, the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage, 10200mAh battery with up to 13 hours of playtime, USB-C 30W fast charge, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 3 inbuilt mics, 8MP front camera and stylus support.

  • you could use it as an external touchscreen monitor for your Nintendo Switch

    really? sounds good

    • +2

Techtablets review @ 12:20 shows it as a monitor.

    • If only you could use the touchscreen input to emulate 3ds..

      • You can if you really want. Citra supports touchscreen mapping but it's a real PITA- you gain the touchscreen but then all of the other controls are onscreen crap.

Any chance of the newly released Xiaoxin 12.6? There's a pre order deal directly where they knock off a few hundred.

Was hoping there would be an LTE/5G version of either but guess I'll have to settle with wifi only

    • At Banggood?

      • +1

@clear I second that as well. I'm also interested in the Xiaoxin 12.6

        • +2

Seems Banggood don't have it yet. Giztop are taking preorders so best to wait for its release.

          • +1

@Clear: Looks like the international release starts on the 15th. If Banggood wants to do a similar pre-launch promotion, I would be interested.

@clubhonda: I would be as well! I held out on the last Xiao Xin Pad pro deal posted by Clear, for this new one!

      • +1

Hahaha yes, that would be great and looks like some others share the same sentiment below if that helps with your negotiations ;)

  • How does this compare to equivalent ipad?

    • You're not getting a 13 inch iPad without spending a lot more, and none of them have video input.

I personally prefer Apple's tablet software but that's opinion.

  • How interesting…

  • +1

Has anyone dealt with banggood and warranty ? or knows how warranty will work in this scenario '??

    • Make sure you pay with PayPal so if there's any issues you're covered 🙂

    • Genuinely terrible. I had a tablet a few years ago that developed a fault. Lodged the fault with them. Provided the required information. They said send it back - at my own cost. Months passed during which I regularly queried them for an update. They kept trying to push alternate lesser tablets at me as a replacement. About 4 months later I accepted and they sent me a tablet which was a different brand and not quite as good and didn't work quite right from day 1. Gave up.

  • I am not a big fan of the kickstand. Makes it look ugly.

    • +1

Ugly but useful, would be quite nice as a laptop replacement with a compact keyboad of your choice.

    • +2

You are supposedly to be looking at the other side.

  • Very nice.. but really need that LTE connectivity.. :(

  • Thanks heaps for your magic in getting the discount code and sharing it, really appreciate it. Got one to use for work and basic entertainment like manga and movies. I'm hoping the PS remote play works well as well.

    Cheers,
