It looks pretty big and heavy, and if you put an AU adapted you might struggle keeping it plugged in

I bought the 65w version on the Basuse charger with a EU plug and barely use it because it fails to stay plugged in even when using the xiaomi powerboard with the conversions built in. I'd suggest to others stick to buying GAN chargers that have a dedicated AU adaptor included.

That's the issue i have with my envelop charger. Bought it in the us and have to use an adaptor, which makes it hard to keep in place. The caller attached very tight to the adaptor, but the whole thing is to heavy to stay plugged into a wall socket

        • Good point tho, I have fair tight fittings for singapore plugs so will still give it a go. But yea needed something that handles the power.

Meant to be a more compact size with the gan tech, guess ill see

    • can we just super glue the adapter ? unless you planning to live aboard

      • i thought about it, but its not just the adapter getting disconnected form the charger, but the adapter getting disconnected form the power plug itself (if you have it on a wall). Maybe if you out it flat on a powerboard it could work?

        • i see. the weight… hmmm yeah put flat on pwboard…. or use extension so it become like desktop charger type

          • @CyberMurning: yeah. Had a similar issue with an asus laptop charger and went to bunnings, bought some cable and plugs and made a 30cm extension cord just so that it wouldn't fall from the power outlet.

Beware - this has no AU plug. I had a look at it previously and decided not to get it.

US $3 off every $30 spent

Looks to be eligible under this offer.

  • I have this charger and sometimes have to nudge it cos it cuts out on the powerboard. Waiting for my little AU adapter to arrive that should with any luck slide into the back.

That being said, works fantastically for the price and can't complain about anything Baseus releases.

If you're looking at spending a reasonable chunk of money on a charger today, I'd strongly suggest it includes pps. Not super critical yet, but there is very little reason not to get it.

    • +2

      This has PPS

    • and what is pps?

      • It basically let's a device (phone etc) ask the power supply for the exact voltage it wants, instead of the present levels. So if a phone has 7.5V cells, it can ask the charger to give it exactly 7.5V, so the phone can pass it straight through to the cells without having to do much buck/boosting and therefore minimises how much heat it generates in the phone itself

Ugreen 100w GAN will be also on sale during singles day.

    • Ugreen charger needs an adapter though I believe? Not AU plug.

  • +1

    Why not this one?
It has an Australian plug as well.

When people buying things close to no warranty, they look for brand.

Looks the same as this. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09DK76W7K/
Your link is much cheaper but HeyMix is a (slightly) recognised brand. I much prefer the 3x USB-C ports for what it’s worth

      • I bought the 60w heymix one, no complaints so far. Charges laptop and iphone together pretty well.

  • would this fast charge the new macbook pro 14?

    • +1

The Apple charger is 140W. This one is much lower.

      • +2

        16 inch one's charger is 140w, 14 is 96w.

  • Does anyone know if there is a PD charger that is 15v/4.33A on the market?
