I'm a big fan of tequila shots so thought I might like more expensive tequila when I did a fancy tequila tasting class a few years back. Expensive tequila is a waste of money based on that fleeting experience in my opinion.
You could say that about any food/alcohol.
I think if you're not someone who gets into the complexities and nuances of the premium ones, stick to low/mid range. I'm one of those people, and prefer to have it on ice, or in a mix / cocktail.
Try it with Solo, lime and a bit of salt…I call it a "Bogan Margarita"

Definitely better value on this, than say a $150 bottle of wine.
So, it's not that expensive when you compare it to alot of wines some of us buy.
I use to think $100 whiskey was expensive, but after buying so many $50-100 bottles of wine you realise it's much better value in spirits 😂
