What Is Considered The Best Wireless Gaming PC Headset?

So far I have been using a sub $25 SADES 708GT wired gaming headset for the past 3-4 years and so far have had no issues with it besides maybe a few times it for some reason plays back desktop sounds but this issue is random and I am not even 100% sure it is because of the headset.

Anyways I am looking for a new headset and want to try wireless this time.

I am wondering what is considered the best overall pc gaming wireless headset that has a good combination of everything from very good sound quality, very good microphone quality, long or decent battery life and most importantly pristine comfort.

One thing I have noticed with this cheap gaming headset is that I feel nothing on my head it literally feels like it is floating on my scalp so I have no indentations or head/neck/scalp pressure at all during my entire time using it.

The only thing that bothers me with this is that it is wired so I have to play with the cable all the time and the desktop playback issue that comes randomly I have not been able to replicate it or identify what causes it to happen but some days it is fine other days people can hear my game sounds and desktop sounds.

Budget wise I am not that picky as long as it ticks all the criteria.

Current usually under $30 Sades SA708GT Wired Gaming Headset for PC, PS4, XB

Backup cheap $79 HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Gaming Headset I bought last Black Friday

Lastly are there any that have both simultaneous wired and wireless operation so you can plug in when battery is low and use it like a normal wired mic.

I think this would be the deal breaker for me as there is nothing more frustrating than having to change your headset in the middle of a session when you are in the zone and forced to break your flow.

You sure about that? Your headsets are sub-$100, but you'd be happy to pay for a $500 headset?

Using SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wireless. Have used a multitude of Logi's up to the G933 and Hyper X. About $200 on sale, I wouldn't bother with the Pro model though that does come with a swappable battery that is always charging in the control station.

Arctis are hands down my favourite. Wireless battery lasts around 20-22 hours of play time, long cord to charge and play at the same time if you forget, dual audio channel so you can mix discord and game volume on the fly, pretty comfy as well with the snow goggle type head support.

They now have the 7+ as well which is USB C charging and a longer 30 hour battery life.

  • I think OP forgot to state their budget because best in everything doesn’t work with sub $100 mentions.

i found the SteelSeries Siberia Elite Prism were great for my big boof head few yrs ago, now my anus is too tight to pay that much, im just using Rig 700s and find them reasonable.

but I reckon the fishing isn't as good as OP hoped… nobody would expect quality gaming headsets for 30
