It’s probably not worth $100/bottle (on producer site it’s $150ea) and it’s being flogged by a few sites but this the cheapest I’ve found it @ $29/bottle.

Good to give away to friends and family so when they google the price…. But who ever does that… right.

      • Just never tell them you use Oz Bargain or you're busted as a cheapskate.

  • Martin's Vineyard is owned by the same people who own Curtis wines, this is their business method. Presumably a handful of morons pay $100 a bottle and Martin's triple their profits but they're happy selling off the bulk around this price.

That said, at $30 a bottle it's not bad. Curtis/Martin's actually make some very good wines they just have a bizarre pricing structure.

Stack with Amex offer for $35 off $150 spend. Makes it $149 / ~$25 a bottle

      Now we're talking!

  • 94 points James Halliday

"A long cold soak of 20 days then pressed to new French oak for fermentation and 18–24 months' maturation. A beautifully composed wine that transported me to another realm, following this producer's American-oak-singed cuvées. Another powerful wine, to be sure, but the relief of whole-berry pulpiness meshed with skilfully gleaned tannins provides joy. Bergamot, violet, dark cherry and the cedar scents of the oak cladding all find confluence, while driving long across the palate. This will age well. Rest assured."

  • Having said that, DM has Wynn's museum release 2014 for $15 a bottle, same 94 points James Halliday.

I'll give this one a miss, there are plenty of good wines in this price range.

  • hi, has there been anyone who bought this secret deal and can share in if it is indeed Martins ? thanks in advance

    • Yep I bought 2 cases… sitting there next to my other 3 I paid about $35 for :(
