Just purchased a Macbook Air 2020 edition and I'm late to the party on needing adaptors to make the 2 thunderbolt ports useful.
I regularly make use of the HDMI (to connect to secondary monitor), and occasionally make use of the USB (to charge stuff, connect my external HD) and SD (gopro footage).
Any favourites or recommendations for me please? :)

Shame none of them supports 4k 60hz thru HDMI
If anyone is this looking thread in future, I went with 8 in 1 USB C Hub-Silver from this post costed me total of 32 bucks with code and coupouns.
4k@60hz works fine via hdmi works fine. Charging and usb seems to work as well.
If anyone is thinking, I would hold up on purchasing the 2020 MBA.
The 2021/2022 MBA would probably return the ports like on the MBP line of devices.
Starting study next year so pulled the trigger - but yeah it's a good point. I would've held out otherwise..
I'm not sure about this. Apple have significantly widened the gap between the air and the pro after there being very little gap last year. I think they'll be happy to keep it that way. With every 'pro' feature they bring to the air, they make the pros asking price a little bit harder to swallow. Would be happy to be wrong though.
I think we'll see MagSafe come to the air though, as apple can make money by selling replacement cables for probably more than a USB C cable.
