    Several reasons,
    The m.2 slots could already be filled or a computer might not have any m.2 slots at all.
    Or to put into a portable SSD case.

      Yeah the only reason to buy this is if your m.2 slots are full or your computer is old enough that it doesn't have any, but even then just get a pcie m.2 adapter.

        Yeah pcie adapter from AliExpress for like $6 bucks. SSDs are limited by sata3 speed 600mbs. Even cheaper m.2 drives are probably 2xsata speed.
        Down voted by dumb asses that have one idea about computer technology.

      Sevenine, Several reasons why you're wrong. If your m.2 slots are full use a pcie adapter. Or put it in a portable m.2 case like a SSD case for the same price from AliExpress. Sevenine SSDs are old technology now. Brush up on current tech.
