Yeah, they taste decent, would take this over the Smiths BBQ chips any day. Nothing too special though imo.
Smiths are milder compared to these, but I'm not sure I'd call them worse. Smiths use canola oil while Samboy use vegetable oil, so it gives it a different taste.
These will almost definitely be old stock. They will probably only have 1 to 2 months best before date left.
Rather get couple packs from Big W if i'm honest
The ones I bought today from Big W had very short expiry date, 27.11.21

I remember when I was a kid and you could only get these in QLD. We used to visit family and I would always get Samboy BBQ chips. It was a blessing when they went nationwide. The tomato ones aren't always easy to get but my local Food Works has them if I don't mind a drive to get them.
Yeah, they seemed to go out opf fashion for a bit. Now still not always available. A damn good day when they are.

These chips have such an old school flavour/taste, it's like stepping back to 1985 when you eat one.

The link says 175g pack of 1 for $19.80 deal must've expired. Don't be fooled. 12 pack is $44.40.
It also has it listed as $0.94 /100g, which means $19.80 = around 2.1kg
I wish we got Atomic Tomato as a regular item in our shops here.

Works out to $1.65 per pack. This is just the usual on-special price that you always see at Coles/Woolies. Not that special in my opinion.
