Hey just wanted to see if anybody has an idea of where I can send a complaint regarding this issue with eBay payments.
Basically eBay has stopped paying out money from the managed payments, it's been working fine on my account since signing up around six months ago when it came in. There's no problem with my account, they've said they have all the relevant documents (eg. bank statement) and it's all verified.
I've been told it is a known tech issue that they're looking into and hope to have it resolved in 60 days. They have refused to do a manual payment or any other options, just wait and see.
So my choices are basically shut down my eBay store until it's resolved or keep selling and have them hold the funds indefinitely, both of which aren't great.
Any idea if there's a relevant government body that I could send a complaint to? Not sure what it would fall under, AFCA, ASIC/AFSL, ACCC? I'm hoping maybe some external pressure might increase the priority at least. Any help is appreciated thanks.
ebay are the scum of the earth.
I used to have a store 4 yrs ago and stopped selling but kept account open. Wanted to sell an item and sold for 2K. The nightmare i had to go through to be able to be paid. Finally 2 weeks after my item got delivered I was able to be paid. had to submit so many documents for identification etc. Sorry cant answer your question but i absolutely hate ebay and would hate to be a seller/store.
