That really depends on the plastic. I've got decades old plastic bottles of alcohol in the shed (the non-drinking kind). Duty-free plastic spirit bottles are also common and there's no issue with their longevity or tainting of the contents.
I love all the criticisms. Just the market working as it should, we needed supplies and business minded people went out and sourced them at risk of their own capital. We might begrudge the people who charged high at the peak but how else was it going to be done, should we have banned enterprise and given the government total control?
Anyway I'll never need that many but price is cheap and I'll sure lots of ppl while be using hands sanitizer more than they used for a long while yet so good luck to you :)
