Yeah that watch looks nothing like the actual watch
A quick view of the reviews even on jbhifi will show that a lot for people don't like the watch.
Poor battery life, laggy, slow, freezes requiring restarts.
That's from memory, I'm sure you could find more by looking at some reviews.
Probably not a good thing to get for anything besides being a normal dumb watch.
I read puma and smart watch i knew this is dud.
Tell me about it dud!
I got chills.
They're multiplyin'.
And I'm losin' control.
'Cause the power
you're supplyin',
it's electrifyin'!
That picture is a Fitbit Ionic.
This is basically the Fossil Sport in a different shell.
Stay away. 512MB RAM and 45hz screen renders this nigh on unusable. Fossil Gen 4 with SD2100 it is not, but it's damn close.
Having and liking (not loving, but tolerating) Fossil gen 4 this is a real step up for the $. The always on screen that the sd3100 allows is a good upgrade
. I kinda like wear os 2 , not having tried others though, but they run euc world pretty well for my use case, a pebble would be better but they are unobtanium.
Still laggy as anything. I've had Fossil Gen 3, Gen 4, Fossil Sport, and now Gen 5 and Suunto 7. Also misfit vapor 1/2, Ticwatch S/S2 etc.
Anything less than 768MB RAM (Wear24, Zte Quartz etc) is just too laggy and painful to use for most people out there.
All you say is true, BUT no cheaper way for reasonable google pay, and EUC world , and it has the time :), find my phone and the other wear os stuff
@ziggy1312: I get what you're saying since it's dirt cheap. But
Gen 5 Fossil Garrett has been as low as 100 and Emporio Armani at 130, so if I was in the market to buy one I'd wait a little longer.
Thanks OP, for this price bought Neon and white/rose gold versions just to have a his/her pair. Agree not worth RRP
At this price also not worth… you feel you got a bargain.. wait till a month usage and come back with review please….
I ended up buying 2 of the Diesel On Full Guard 2.5 which I believe is essentially the same model based on comments from another user about Fossil's customer service and warranty. To be honest though, I'm actually pretty happy with the watch after letting it complete all its updates and then changing some of the settings to reduce battery drain.
With basic usage so far today, battery drain has worked out at about 3% per hour, and over the past couple of days (when I've used it a little more heavily) it's lasted from 5:30am through to around 10:30pm with between 15% to 20% battery life remaining.
I'm not disappointed at all, but if Fossil's customer service is as good as reported, then all the better in my opinion.
Ouch. Diesel on full guard 2.5 is actually sd2100 with 45hz screen, i.e. fossil Gen 4.
Good luck. I love the looks but having fossil Gen 4 explorist HR made me wanna throw my watch against the wall.
Looks like a Fitbit
