It's been more than 10 years since I last had a home printer. I finally bought one last month but didn't realise how expensive ink is or how fast it's used up. I've barely used the printer and the indicator seems to already show the ink levels as almost half empty. A black 180pg yield cartridge seems to be ~$25 each which is quite pricey, especially considering that I only paid $28 for this printer. I'm quite clueless when it comes to printers so it would be great if someone could help me find cheap cartridges/ink/whatever compatible with this printer. Thanks.
You could buy a refill kit, and refill the cartridges yourself.
