        Click frenzy has a bad history of these things unfortunately. They most likely do, but things can happen spontaneously and so they're probably scrambling around for answers (at least I hope so).

        But yes they should really have better equipment and IT personnel

        With the presale pop up that wouldn't go away yesterday, they told me they'd pass it on to their IT team. Who had probably gone home for the day.

        They automate the times for the .js to launch it (saying that could be a call to a random time gen which could be down too), no devs around - exception must have occurred and couldn't trigger it (will potentially prevent any further as well).

        In the past, people have been able to see the drop time in advance by viewing source files. So they are definitely not dropped live.

      It's incredible that they haven't managed to run a single clickfrenzy event without any controversy. Sadly I do not think it's part of an elaborate PR scheme.
