Hi All,
Less then 12 months ago I collated the various parts needed to build a new PC. One of which was a Corsair RM850x PSU purchased from an Australian store on ebay.
In the last 4 weeks the PC has been experiencing issues and after various troubleshooting steps I have confirmed the PSU is at fault. I have since contacted Corsair support and advised them of the issue, noting the PSU has a 10 year warranty only to be advised that said warranty is not applicable as the item was not purchased from a "authorised" reseller.
I have gone back to them with my disappointment and an attempt at explaining Australian consumer law, waiting to hear back.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar, do you think their response is valid?
Cheers,
