Saucony Guide 14 $110 + $5 Shipping (Free over $150) @ Running Warehouse

120

Anyone looking for decent running shoes this is pretty good deal. Roughly half price and you'd be very lucky to find it less than $100 in future I'd say.

Not the most cushioning/plushest from Saucony's range but seems to have good reviews and likely to be pretty durable.

Also available in Women's sizes

Catch and amazon also have Ride Iso 2 at $99.95 which I think is a steal but only in a few sizes. Didn't post it as a deal due to lack of supply)
Catch (9,10.5, 13)

Amazon (10.5, 11, 12, 13,14)

The Ride Iso2 is pretty cushioning and plush if that's what you like.

I should mention runrepeat. It's quite useful for finding discounted shoes using the search function.

  • any deals on walk/running shoes with international delivery to SE asia ?

few years ago, we used to have bargain deals from startfitness in UK that delivers internationally

    • Sorry no idea.

  • I normally use Asics Nimbus for my running shoes. I bought a pair of these Guide but the previous 13 model and only used them for walking. After 1 week they gave me Plantar fasciitis. Anyone else get this from these shoes? I have to admit they are super comfortable and feel great when I do my 12.5km walk but after 1 week they gave me this problem. Gone back to Asics and running 12.5km most days with no issues. If they didn’t give me plantar fasciitis I’d switch to them moving forward as they feel better on my feet than the Asics.

Try Saucony Triumph for cushioned running shoes. They are the best among the 6 different models that I tried.

      • Cheers for that. Might give those a shot next time they are going cheap.

    • +2

Nimbus are neutral, whilst Guide are support shoes. May have contributed to your plantar fasciitis.

      • I actually run in Kayano too but I’m not going to buy them anymore as I’m finding the Kayano don’t last as long as the Nimbus.

  • I bought a few pairs of Saucony ISO 2 while cheap last year at $42/pair - only worn one of them but the outer material split within a few weeks where my small sits… Comfortable enough shoes though…

    • was it the ride iso 2?

My pair feels very solid. I've run 150km in them and they don't really show much wear and tear.

      • Just double checked - they say Guide ISO 2 on the box…

  • Fyi. The Guides are support shoes. The equivalent in neutral are the Saucony Rides.

  • The Kinvaras have been great for me running up to 20k a session. Onto my 3rd pair. Prior to that I liked the freedom iso which they don't seem to stock in Aus anymore.

Considering going up to the Endorphins for a racing shoe with carbon plate but $300 is a tough pill to swallow.

    • Personally I'm a new balance man. just can't kind find a good deal on the 1080s which I quite like. I'm also looking at the Rebel V2 which has really nice reviews but it doesn't look like it will be discounted anytime soon and I'm guessing it will probably just sell out! I find it hard to justify spending much more than $100 on a pair of daily runners. Definitely can't justify buying race shoes for the time being but if I had spare cash I would just go all out and get next% :D

Are you training for anything in particular?

      • I did my first half Mara this year and have bridge to Brisbane this weekend.

Weather is getting pretty toasty is brissy so will dial it back over summer and go again in autumn next year.

I have heard good things about the newer new balance shoes too.

        Next% would be good too.

I'd like to find a shoe shop that has a treadmill so you can actually run 500m or 1km in the shoes before you buy.

  • Add SUNSUPER10 discount code for 10% off.

    • +4

      SUNSUPER15 for 15% off.

      • Yes apologies you’re right.

  • Very tempting. I loved the Guide 13. Still wear them for gardening cos I couldn’t bear to throw them out after retiring them.

    • You should try the endorphins for gardening. The carbon plate makes the plants grow faster.

      • LOL wouldn’t surprise me if performance gardening shoes became a thing.

  • I'd be a bit wary with shipping time. Ordered two weeks ago with express delivery (expected delivery in 2-3 days), however it is still currently in transit.

Likely an issue with their shipping provider rather than the actual store though.

  • Certain parts of their website seems to be having issues at the moment.

    • +1

yeah i can't make a purchase! not sure whether to be annoyed or relieved.

And thanks for the recommendation, https://runrepeat.com/ is great for finding specials.

  • Website working again. Deal still on for Saucony Guide 14.
