Sell RTX 2080 Super for 30 Series LHR?

Is it worth selling a 2080 Super to a miner for a 30 series LHR card for non mining workloads?
From what I understand the 2080 Supers have decent hash rate and the second hand market is quite highly inflated, wondering if I could upgrade for free or cheaply and get a better 30 series card.
Where's the best place to track what price second hand cards are selling for?
Can anyone tell me the current market price or what I should expect for a EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB FTW3 ULTRA with 18 months usage?

Thanks

Quick search on FB Marketplace. Search "2080 Super" and then click the "Sold" filter to see recently sold items. Do the same for ebay.

Estimate more than $1k. Possibly up to $1.2K if your buyer is desperate enough to buy one, minus 10 percent final value fee if you're using eBay without seller promo

    • Cool thanks for that. Sounds like I could sell it, pay a little on top and get a new 3070 with slightly better performance. Probably a smart move in the current market…

    3070 ~ 2080 Ti, so unless you're getting a 3080 or 3090, it's not going to be huge upgrade.

    They're not great - probably around 40 MH/s, compared to a 3060 Ti or 3070 which will get 60 MH/s.

    eBay.

That being said, my hunch is that you'd probably get ~ $1k for your 2080 Super. You might pay ~$1.2k for a 3070 LHR, so it's $200 more for a marginal performance bump. Only you can figure out whether it's worth it.
