10minute email didn't work.
So instead I logged into our SBS server and added a few alias's for a distribution group we have setup.

Yep Today i walked down to a 7 11 and the guy hesitated. Tell him to follow the instructions on the botttom of the voucher, some just wont give up, if the persist that it is unusable go to another one there is bound to be one that works!. For people in Melbourne, go to the 7 11 nearest Flinders Street Station, cnr of Elizabeth and Flinders Streets. The voucher WILL work

I just scored a free sandwich at the 7-11 in Wollongong near the hospital. The guy was more than happy to honour the coupon.
Scored one at the same 7-11 for free too. Barcode didn't scan so he keyed the number in and it all went well. Said I could only get the sandwich OR the Coke, so I obviously got the sammich.
FFS what a bunch of tight wads these 7/11 types are. It clearly says sammich PLUS coke. At least they gave you something for free I guess.

Had a problem redeeming it in the Darling Harbour, NSW store yesterday so sent an e-mail to their corporate team. Received a response from their District Manager after a couple of hours to inform me that he was personally going to the store today to teach them how to process it.
No problem using the coupon in either the Darling Harbour or Elizabeth/Liverpool St, Sydney stores today. Seems like they got confused with the buy-4-Munch-get-1-free promotion and insisted I take a 600ml Coke as well :)

Had problems at the Broadway stores today, seemed that their Cmps wouldn't connect to head office or seomthing?
Also, they made me choose the cheaper Sandwiches instead lol
That wasn't the case..they thought I can't understand what they said but the boss told the employee in another language to deny as many of these vouchers as possible. They did the same with the pie and the Slurpee promotion on me before.
I've used 3 vouchers today and all worked except the employees each took around 5 minutes to punch the damn numbers in! They really need to educate their franchises before launching something like this.
Me and my friend went to a 7/11 store to get our free sandwiches today. The cashier said one of the coupons had already been used. I was pretty annoyed, the same thing happened with the free meat pie offer. You think they would've fixed it this time around. Has anyone else had this problem?
I have a feeling it did work, because I think I saw the same discount being applied for both of the coupons on the register screen. I reckon she just didn't want to give away both sandwiches coz she ended up keeping both print outs and gave us the cheaper sandwich D:
Yeah same thing happened to me. The chick kept scanning it over and over without success and told me that the code had already been used. I told her to type in the barcode but she refused and kept saying sorry its been used. Went to another 7-11 and it was accepted fine.
Wow, WTF.
I wonder what's the point of 7-11 having this promotion that they won't even honour. Now that I think about it, the cashier actually scanned in the second sandwich, so she probably kept it for herself to eat after we left!!! >:(

I had a similar problem today, I think it is the individual 7/11 store operator, I went into the 190 Bourke St store in Melbourne, hand the guy the voucher, he said he has to scan it first to see if it's been used before, after he scanned he asked me what sandwich do I want ? so I pick a sandwich and handed to him, he scanned it then he said it's been use before. I asked him then why he asked me to pick a sandwich, is it so you can scan the price. He just say look here the price doesn't show up, I said it's ok, I will send this email back to 7/11 head quarter, along with this store details, so they can check against their system later. When i to back to the office, I emailed 7/11 my story along with the barcode number and the exact time that the voucher was scanned. So they know that it was scanned once and by him.

Same issue as many others. Went in today with 2 new vouchers. Both of them scanned up as being used.
This seems to be a data base issue.
Should contact the headoffice at the 7-11 store (in front of the staff) if there's any problem with the vouchers.
Stirring things up won't help your cause, might as well save your breath and the drama then find another store. There's plenty of them around the place…

The girl kept trying to scan it, but when she did, it did not make the sandwiches free (so the total was still the same), but she gave them to me anyway and tried to figure it out later.

Easily worked for me in Chatswood (Sydney), NSW. They only had a few different varieties of sandwich and they all contained ham or some red meat — even the roast chicken sandwich had ham!
Given that the full price is $6.20 for the roast chicken sandwich I am very doubtful that they would sell any during normal business hours (I'd prefer Maccas - cheaper, fresher and nicer tasting).
Taste-wise it was at the low end of the spectrum for a bought sandwich. It did use real chicken breast though, and the bread was brown/grain. The container was pretty good too — easy to open box.
the voucher now also includes a FREE BOTTLE OF COKE!!(NSW only.) the munch offer is now expired in QLD/VIC.

Can't see why it wouldn't work. The stores around me (Brunswick, Essendon Vic) have a big banner out the front promoting the free munch sandwiches.

Its not expired date wise in VIC/QLD….they have simply filled their quota of freebie sandwiches. As stated on them, they're valid until Nov to be redeemed.

The damn 7eleven people are so rude! I was at the George St on in Ultimo, opposite the bus terminal! At first they wouldnt give it to me and tried to give me a munchie discount card of some sort. After a bit of tossing and turning I tried to explain that this is a new promo!
Got my free sandwich today. As usual, the operator was confused but with the previous knowledge of them having difficulty following instructions, I printed them on a separate page to not confuse them. All went well and off I was to eat the sandwich.
Unlike the munch pies which are made to survive a nuclear holocaust, the sandwiches are delivered fresh. The sandwich (Ham & Egg) looked just like the picture.
The sandwich is made with Helga's multigrain bread. Each pack comes with 2 sandwiches. The taste was excellent and was comparable to any cafe sandwich you would buy. At $5.95 it's OK value for a sandwich on the run. By the way it worked at the Collingwood (VIC) 7/11, operator was a short Indian woman.

Got my sandwich this morning at corner of Little Bourke st and Russells st. The guy asked me to wait for his manager to arrive as he doesn't know what to do, so I show him the instructions at the bottom, he was happy to read and follow the instructions, all done in 1 minute, he even apologized and said this is new to him.

Got 2 more sandwiches today. The woman recognised me from yesterday so no additional explaining was necessary. Apparently, I'm the only one who has used the coupon. There was only 1 sandwich left so Roast Chicken Super Club it was. The Super Club was $6.20, $.25 more than the Ham & Egg. On to location #2 (Brunswick St), the operator accepted the voucher without even scanning it. For sandwich #2, I chose Smoked Leg Ham & Tasty Cheese. The sandwich cost $4.95 which was fairly reasonable for it's smaller size.
Both sandwiches were made with Helga's multigrain bread. The roast chicken came with a big grilled chicken breast which surprisingly had a good texture, neither too hard nor too soft. In between the chicken was a touch of ham and ranch dressing. I'd probably rate this as high as the Ham & Egg and it is definitely the most filling of the three sandwiches.

The Ham & Cheese was good as expected but the least filling of the 3. I think the combination of fresh vegetables, Helgas bread, and a Ranch/Mayo makes these sandwiches quite good and maybe better than cafe sandwiches.

This is happening again -couldn't get in all afternoon just loops back to the same thing and tried on 5-6 different computers!

Was trying it at George st. and they just wouldn't take the voucher- this was like about a week ago, there were two stores nearby one tried scanning it at least but wouldn't type it… one wouldn't even budge just said you need colour copy or something silly and would not even try scanning it…and I was ready to buy other food to go with the sandwich so I was buying something too…was really waste of time as they wouldn't scan it and were rather rude.
