Reduced by $20, I just bought 3 with discounted gift cards.
If you are able to find any of the $50 TCN for Him or for Her cards in the current Woolies deal you can save even more. I couldn't find any in my 3 local Woolies though.

How long have you had these installed for? I read about battery issues from some non-official solar panels.
Not long.
I guess there is potential for it to damage the camera if it doesn't regular the voltage to 5V correctly
Yes, posted in another thread:
"Make sure you get the eufycam solar panels. I killed my cameras because they were constantly charging for a period of time using after market panels, fortunately warranty kicked in."
@gadgetguy: Yes, that's my comment. Then it was a massive pain going through warranty claim as they don't have warranty centres in Australia.
Was fortunate it was still within the warranty period but took 3 weeks to get a replacement.
I wouldn't gamble of saving a bit by using after market panels after my experience. It's not worth the stress.
@Lucille Bluth: They have a distributor in Melbourne who would look after the warranty claims but it is a pain.
1 of my EufyCams were fried from using an after market solar panel from extended overcharging within 2 months.
The camera had a burnt smell and would not turn on.
The solar panel shouldn't over charge anything. The BMS on the battery should be doing the charging.
Having a solar panel would be no different that leaving the camera plugged into a wall charger. If the solar panel isn't out putting the correct voltage than it might have a problem.

Is it possible for this to overcharge the battery?
No, it will not overcharge. eufyCam has a power management chip inside, which can automatically stop charging when fully charged.
Also on the MyAnker page (Anker are the owners of Eufy):
"Certified Safe for eufyCam: Only certified eufy Security solar panels can sync with eufyCam to ensure correct power management. Non-certified solar panels may damage the eufyCam battery."
I tried running three different generic solar micro-usb chargers on the cameras and they definitely did not work.
Amazon have the same price too.
Yes but on back order, 2 to 4 weeks.
What's the Woolies deal?
1000 Rewards points with For Him or For Her $50 cards.
Can be used at JB. Worth $5 off your shop.
A bit expensive. I've used a ebay generic panel (looks the same as the eufy brand) for over 2yrs now, no issues and works great. Got mine for around ~$32 when it was on sale.
One thing is there's a setting in the app which you need to select 'solar panel' as the power source.
Some idiot is downvoting the posts about the real dangers of using non Eufy panels with your camera.
Eufy themselves warn you your camera can be damaged if you do it.
While you're almost definitely right about the random unbranded panels, I would expect nothing less from a company who is in the panel market as well.
I totally agree but i decided it wasn't worth the risk, especially now for a $30 or $40 difference.
Also the Eufy panels come with rubber adapters/gaskets and waterproof bracket that enable a waterproof seal to the power socket on the camera. You would have to tape this up or otherwise seal it on a third party panel to ensure it remains weatherproof.
You can see it in this video:
Anyone tried this with the Eufy doorbell?
I’d like to know this too..
It says "No, not recommended" on their FAQ.
Thanks! Bought & Pick-up.
Expired and price back to $99 now
I bought an aftermarket one from ebay for $39 and it works perfectly fine
