  • Hey moocher, how does the Hamilton compare with the cancer council moisturiser?

    • +1

I just picked it up and tried it on. And WOW! It applies so well. Not sure if you have used Ultraviolette Supreme Screen but I can compare it to that, if not better because it's not as too hydrating. It's demi matte.

Hamilton is better and less oily than CC imo. It makes my skin look nice but takes abit to dry down. No pilling/white cast after hours or breakouts compared to CC. Hamilton everyday is perfect for lightweight, true matte in comparison to UV supreme screen. Many people switch to Hamilton after using Mecca 2 Face as raved on reddit

Hamilton sensitive is a step up from cancer council. The texture is more moisturising. No stinging, white cast or pilling so great under makeup. This is bang for your buck, I stocked up on both.

I haven't actually tried cancer council matte, but the ingredients for the Cancer Council Matte, Hamilton Face Sunscreen and Natio daily defence are almost identical, see reddit post. They are all pretty safe bets.

Hamilton does have a very slight tint, presumably from the addition iron oxides (it blends out and isn't noticeable). The addition of iron oxides may increase protection from blue light.

Slightly off-topic but there's a new face sunscreen poll for 2021 - please vote or make suggestions. Thanks!
