Hi All,
In the market to get a basic printer for casual use at home, mainly to print B&W images. Current one is starting to release smoke during printing which has never happened before, so think its time for a replacement. Is there any websites that are currently selling anything cheap? Few years ago it was cheaper to buy a new printer than replace the cartridge, now its gone to the opposite end.
Would prefer something below $250 if possible.

Recently purchased Brother Mono Laser Printer HL-L2350DW, from the GoodGuys for $144.50. Had to chase around to find one in stock. Printers are in short supply due to WFH.

If you want one with a small footprint, here's another officeworks HP for $139. Works well, but you wouldn't want to be doing bulk printing with it.

@sagrules: mwave seem to have it in stock for $159. If you're anywhere near Lidcombe you could save the shipping costs.
