Noticing the above happen way too frequently over the past month or so.
Has anyone else noticed this too or is it just my area?
Coles & Woolworths..... Sale item = empty shelf

Havent happened to me.. In my local Coles store, they keep the specials in 3 areas (both ends of isles and where it's normally kept). There's always stock even when one area is empty
Sometimes they have run out, other times not, its a bit of a lottery sometimes. Annoying when you go there for the item thats not there.
I thought Coles used to have a raincheck policy, anyone know if thats still valid?
I know Woolworths do a raincheck for when the shelves or freezers are bare. I guess only for common items, not one off special deals they may never stock again. They just give you a coupon to present next time you come in.
It happens sometimes but you can get a raincheck for Coles or Woolworths that are valid for 1 month and can be used at any store.
Must be a lot of OzB'ers in your area. :)
