Their system sucks compared to some very basic cheap RGB lights like the Kogan ones. You can't run the effects if your phone isn't connected to the wifi, if the app gets closed, etc. what's the point of the lifx cloud? Meanwhile the cheaper ones will keep the effect running forever no matter what.
