Might be the cheapest laptop with a 5700U CPU currently?

Integrated graphics should be more than enough for real light gaming as well.

Install another 8GB stick of RAM (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/363467930753) for $55 and total is still less than $1k.

This has got to be one of the best combos for a lightweight (1.44 kg) but powerful laptop on the market, especially at this price.

  G15 is almost twice the weight and probably generates way more heat.
  But probably a good option if you're concerned about gaming.
