Note 2.4g networks only, not 5g. So anyone who's using their 5g network for their google home setup isn't going to be able to communicate without swapping to their 2.4g wifi network. Great price otherwise though.

  Is there a reason someone would prefer 5G for a smart home over 2.4G? The latter has better range. Is there a use for the higher transfers on 5G?
