I sorta am disappointed too, usually I grab a bacon and egg after midnight because it's the right proportion for a late night snack and cheaper too
Every AMA I've seen from McDonalds workers consistently say to never order breakfast items during the day outside breakfast hours. Particularly eggs.
I can anecdotally vouch for that as McMuffins are one of the few items that I like there. Horrible outside morning rush and never again. So no real loss for me.
I don't eat eggs, but never had problems with the sausage and bacon McMuffin at either of my locals during the day. The hash browns tend to be terrible though.

Yeah I didn't understand why Maccas went down the all day menu route. There's a very small fanbase of people who like breakfast menu items during the day. I can honestly say that outside breakfast hours, I likely only made maybe 2-4 muffins. Due to this, eggs and muffins sit in the UHC for hours - hence the lack of quality.
Hotcakes are more popular outside of breakfast, but they are simple to make (microwave for 30 seconds).

Nooooo….. I always made sure to ask for them to be made fresh, but mcmuffin are my favourite goto. 😓 Oh well — midday is still better than 10:35am!
I mean who doesn't want bacon and eggs that have been sitting around all day in a warmer until every last water molecule has been purged from them?
I really liked the idea of all day breakfast but in reality the execution was poor, like others have said, dried up McMuffins. But with this change and the disappearance of the double beef and bacon burger deal, my maccas consumption is likely to decrease - probs for the best.
Should we turn this into an 'our choice' not theirs debate and mass protest??
…Fact is businesses always evolve with the market and if this means faster service for the majority of their customers then its a good improvement to make. There's always going to be persons disgruntled when businesses evolve their operations but its ultimately what keeps these businesses being successful.
Never really had it for breakfast so it's no loss for me.
Maccas is my goto for Big Mac, Fries and Milk shakes… that's what they need all day :)
