My guess from the model number is the RTX2060 for that price, too expensive.

My guess from the model number is the RTX2060 for that price, too expensive.
Needs to be around $500-600 to be considered good

    • +3

      $400 to $350 for me

      • +3

bruh gtx 1060s sell for that price in this market
good luck finding a 2060 for that price

        • +2

Sold a RTX2060 in a system for under 400 not long ago. not hard just got to find someone who is not looking to rip people off or cash in on miners or fomo fools. It is possible. And anyone who pays $400 for a 5 year old 1060, I feel very sorry for.

          • @Auspcbuilda: It's really really hard to find good deals like that
I scored a used 2060 super for $400 a couple of months ago, but since then I haven't yet found a better deal
Miners pay whatever price as they can make their money back pretty easily
As for gamers, some who just wanna play games at the moment have no choice but to buy at those ridiculous prices
I don't expect prices to drop drastically anytime soon especially during holidays

        • +1

You speak the truth. I sold two of my old 1060s for $350 each a few months back.

  • +9

Not a good move to go for a 2060 at this stage , specially at this price point which is not cost effective at all! 700$ for a 2060 :/
    Pass for me as well

  • +6

Lol, made us have to search the model just to find out it was an RTX2060.

    • +1

      title updated

yeah, let's post every 2060 on the market

    {ironic upvote)

what's next? let's clear out 1660Ti shall we

sorry its very hard to find stock at good price.

  • +9

It is cheaper than most retailers by a margin. Happy to see more retailers with better competitive pricing to bring GPU prices down.

  • +2

Considering the RX 6600 is now $700+, honestly not a bad price for comparable performance.

    • not really comparable, the 6600 is 20-30% more fps over the 2060. For $50 more the 6600 is a no brainer over the 2060. Although the 2060 mines slightly more profit than the 6600, so if you mine a lot the 2060 will probably be a better choice

  • +11

3 year old card should be selling $399

(profanity) this market man and {profanity) all ya'll for feeding into this frenzy

    • +3

I'm amazed that 1050ti's (!!!) are going for more than I paid for mine years ago :)

      • +1

yeah I'm still on my 1060 and chose not to upgrade (which I might). That made it more worth it, sure I might missed out a few video games but isn't that even better? playing less video games.

  • +9

We can spend all day shitting on the GPU prices, if someone wanted a 2060 atm, this would be one of, if not, the cheapest price. The RX 6600 does appear to be better than it when comparing 1080p gaming though, and you still get them for about 30 bucks more. I don't have the two cards to compare ray tracing, but I would guess the main reason to buy a 699 2060 over a 729 6600 would be the ray tracing.

    • +2

AMD first gen ray tracing is as bad as Nvidia first gen ray tracing

      • +5

        DLSS

People need to realise gpu's are now an investment with crypto prices still so high.

A 2060 still makes about 2.50 - 3.00 a day if you mine on nicehash, so this card pays for itself in 250 ish days.
It's no longer the cost of the gpu being factored in, but people who are scooping them up to make money.

Mine it for a year and sell it secondhand and you're way infront if crypto prices remain somewhat steady.

    • +2

ETH 2.0 is scheduled for fewer days than that.
Beacon chain is already up and running, so it's just a matter of a merge with the mainnet, for all those naysayers that will say it will be "perpetually delayed".

      • The ETH hash rate increases are slowing by a lot despite the 'rally', miners are not grabbing nearly as much supply as earlier this year. Maybe the POS switch has them reconsidering but personally I'm skeptical it will happen.

    • +2

Especially there's no guarantee the next gen retail price will be reasonable too. After watching the market for 2 months, it's just doesn't seem like it will improve anytime soon.

I suggest that if you need a GPU now, find the cheapest in today's market and just go for it. Who know, the next RTX 4060 may have a retail price of $1k, with $2k market price tag.

    • +2

"A 2060 still makes about 2.50 - 3.00 a day if you mine on nicehash" - does this take in to account electricity costs?

      • +1

Yes - that's based on 0.20 per kilowatt - which is easy to find electricity at that price or below

  • -4

Give us RTX 3060 at this price, then we'll talk.

    • +4

sorry its very hard to find stock at good price.

    • +2

thought the deal was 3060 for a few seconds.🤣

    • +5

They could have easily posted it for 800.

No other retailers are even trying.

If everyone did this, we would start to see a drop.

Instead, everyone is scalping up their "RRP" by 50-100 a day.

    • +6

I will never understand the rudeness and entitlement out of some Ozbargainers.

      • +2

just people in general i'm afraid - you just tend to only notice the bad though, so it sticks out.

  • +2

Good to see 2060 pricing coming down in the market. looks like the cheapest 2060 ut there

  • +2

2060 for $700, this is so crazy, gamers need to start boycotting these ripoff last gen GPUs, if ppl keep buying, price will never come down …

    • Gamers buy a small fraction of the total supply, you need to lobby miners mate 😁

  • +5

What a bloody joke. I paid $649 for a 2070 Super in Oct/Nov 2019. Here we are two years later with a 2060(!) going for a higher price and being called a bargain. Sad times.

  • +4

    BUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ahhh NO!

  • +4

I paid 400$ for a used 1080 more than couple of years ago. And it gives the same performance. I know its not comparable to a new card, but 700 is a lot. If we keep buying at this price, then scalpers and distributers will keep charging at this price.

  • +4

I like how people dislike this, a GPU at one of the lowest prices in months. But will like the same SSD for $120 that's been on sale at that price every week for the last year XD

    • Where is that $120 SSD? I want it!

  • +1

its an old card not worth it.

  • Crypto miners should have to registered and licensed so they only pay the scalpers price

  • +1

Considering the current scalping unit prices of GPUs currently wondering what affect it has on sales of current and new AAA PC Gaming Titles

  • +1

Lol! Same price I bought my rtx2070 for

  • +3

I paid less for the 2070 3 years ago… All this nonsense due to Ponzicoins.

  • good price for ancient tech…
    Just go buy a console.

  • eth 2.0 tomorrow peeps, wait

  • Thanks all for your orders. Al stock gone now.

Please understand we are not in the business of scalping. The market dynamics for GPU's due to demand are totally outside of our control.
We managed to secure 30 units and sold it at a price much lower than the market.

Totally understand the sentiment around bang for buck, ROI and what was paid for it in the past.

    Stay safe!
