Can I get an OzB assessment of this tablet? It looks to me like a slightly upgraded version of the iPlay 40 Pro (although perhaps the SOC is inferior?).

The CPU and GPU in the X Game is better than the iPlay 40 but not by a huge margin. X Game has the benefit of a slightly larger screen, larger battery and USB-PD/Pump Express fast charging.
If Alldocube wanted to do a gaming tablet properly they should have opted for something with more oomph. It's about time we start seeing the Unisoc T700 and T710. Or perhaps get one of the MediaTek Dimensity CPUs that are surprisingly good. I'd like to say a Snapdragon 720G, but I know Qualcomm costs a lot more and the minimum quantity is much higher than MediaTek.
the p90 looks pretty much the same vs the T618
its a mid tier processor nothing special, i have a $90 realme c3 smartphone that uses the p70 which is a lower clocked version of the p90, very happy with it.
I bit the bullet and bought it.
I have an iPlay 40 for sale if anyone is interested. Bought it late March for my daughter for lockdown schooling but she never used it and took my iPad instead. Mint condition. I have a shockproof case with stand for it, too.
