A Bit About ASKO:
ASKO is an international brand with a full line of high-performance washers, dryers and dishwashers. ASKO Appliances still do a great job of cleaning with a fraction of the water, electricity and detergent of many other machines. Every component is constructed of steel rather than plastic wherever possible. And every ASKO product is still built with Scandinavian quality and environmental sensitivity, just as Karl-Erik Andersson intended.

  • For complete visibility and awareness, this appears to be a 'Scratch and Dent' sale, according to the linked site.
And claimed on that site to be ~30% off for a few products I saw.

    • Yes, you are correct. It is Clearance Stock. Thank you :)

  • Just checked the first item a Washing Machine *KG the price shown is $1599.00
Harvey Norman new stock price $1399
    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/asko-8kg-classic-front-load-…

OP is there a further 30% of the price shown? Otherwise I call BS

  • Purchased ASKO washing machine before and never again.

Poor quality, very loud, cloth not be cleaned at all.

Even cheap $500 machine is much better than this brand.

Got an ASKO dishwasher 2 years ago, just passed warranty and started water started leaking causing the machine to stop working (safety switch).

ASKO won't help because it's out of warranty. Bought in a technician for $197 call out fee (!), for the technician to give me a separate quote of $1052 to replace the broken part and was told the chance of it breaking again is quite high.

I just bought a brand new Bosch for $691.

  • any recommendations for a budget washing machine? just moved into a new apartment

    • how budget? bosch imo is worth it as it lasts very well. and is cheaper than all these anyway

    • We bought an Ariston from (cough cough) Harvey Norman. Comes with a 5 year warranty. Honestly, I went in to look at the Bosch and the 5year warranty sold me. Very happy with it. Be aware that a lot of import designed Dishwashers have a salt reservoir that you should keep filled with water. The salt being as a water softener and we don't really need that for 95% of Australia.

That's the one we got https://www.harveynorman.com.au/ariston-lfc2c19aus-14-place-… It was cheaper at the time.

  • Had an Asko dishwasher and it was terrible. Sold the house, surprised the agent even mentioned Asko dishwasher in the ad. If you want a real dishwasher buy a Bosch Serie 8.

  • Asko is now owned by Chinese Hisense and still being sold for premium prices. Quality however is being reported declining significantly.

    • All of the Asko products are made in Slovenia not in other countries. Even all the parts are from Slovenia.

  • I absolutely love Asko, their customer service is really good, and I have purchased all of my appliances from Asko. Cannot fault them.

You created this account just to be an Asko shill?

  • We have an asko dishwasher, best i have ever owned and still going strong after about 5 years (i purchased at a similar scratch and dent sale). I know 2 other people who also have Asko much older than mine and still happy. Maybe newer models are rubbish i dont know.
