Did you guys ever purchase stuffs oversea?

Hi,guys

I am scunner the local high price goods and some are lack of sorts. So I was often shopping from oversea websites like Asos and Amazon. When I purchased from Asos, there is no transaction fees or interests fees. However,if I going to US sites, I had been charged transactions amounts each time depending on how much I bought. I just went to my local bank and asked them, they said that is the sites action which is not related to our bank.So I was just wondering that do you guys ever be charged that amounts from US site? Any possibles ways to avoid that, I know it is little amounts. But imagine that if we can gather all the little amounts, how big money they are!

cheers

  • Use Paypal and let them do the currency conversion, rather than your bank.

Then you won't see the transaction fees, so you need not worry about them.

It's like "free delivery", which isn't really free but is built into the item price - it suits people who prefer not to see the delivery costs and get upset by them.
