I can't seem to find anything on whether unvaccinated children (Under 5) can travel to QLD once they open up on Dec 17th.
Everything i'm reading says "Fully" vaccinated only. Surely this doesn't apply to young children who aren't eligible right?

Don't quote me on this but my understanding in these situations it defaults to the parents being fully vaccinated
Thanks guys. Would be good to see this in writing somewhere on a government website. Makes me bit nervous booking flights and accommodation.
Clear and concise wording from the government? That's asking a bit much.
it is there in writing, see my comment below. People who cannot be vaccinated—for example those who are not eligible due to age - will be treated as vaccinated

Fully vaccinated – Two weeks since your second dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. People who cannot be vaccinated—for example those who are not eligible due to age or have an exemption from a qualified medical practitioner—will be treated as vaccinated for the purposes of entry and quarantine requirements.
Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for.
… But I believe they will need to have done the covid test 72 hours prior
I believe everywhere is working with the same view, only if you are eligible to receive a vaccine does the "Fully Vax" rules apply.
As you said, you can't ask a child under 12 to be 'fully vax' when there is no vaccine for them at this point in time.
