Yes, we've been using the same one for almost 20 years now.
Maily use it for pizza dough, but occasionally bread too. Makes awesome fruit bread.
Yeah I haven't used it for bread in years but for pizza dough they're great. But a cheapy is enough for that - don't need anything as fancy as the one here.
What's your pizza dough recipe? Do you follow the one came with the recipe book?

yep, but i multiply all the ingredients by 1.6, so use 600g flour.
I also use a good quality bread flour, not plain flour from the supermarket.
I love making home made raisin toast - so much better than store bought!!
are these you just put in the flour and water and it does everything else?
how long does it take to make 1 loaf?
loaf of bread these days cost like 4 bucks, might be a good investment.
I can't comment on all bread makers, but for mine I put in water, flour, salt, yeast, bread improver, sugar, oil, flavourings (optional); set a timer for overnight and wake up to a fresh loaf.
It's generally about 3.5-4 hours for a standard 700g white bread loaf. There are 'rapid' cycles, but I never bother with it.
I've also kept a sourdough starter for the last few years and will put some of that in as well to add some flavour and texture.
Yes, very easy to just add all the ingredients and press start
5 hrs for wholemeal bread lof
4 hrs for white loaf

You'll also knead yeast, sugar, salt…
You can buy Laucke ready mix, which comes with a package of yeast. Just measure up, add water and set time. The ready mix is about $1 per loaf.
Have an older version of this and while it's going strong, the non-stick coating in the bowl is coming off a bit around the kneader, and unfortunately a replacement is almost as expensive as a completely new machine. Would still recommend though.
Decided to order one as an upgrade, and I can say the new pan definitely seems to have better non-stick coating than the old one.
I found making gluten free bread tricky in a bread maker. I buy the breadmix and use the breadmaker to do the kneeding and cook in the oven. Get much better results. Gluten free breadmix is about $5 per loaf so not sure you save much. My favorite breadmix is laucke gf.
I purchase my GF breadmix for about $110 for 15kg.
I have the stainless steel version of this breadmaker.
Does a reasonable job 1 hour 50 for GF bread other programs up to 5 hours.
As other reviewers said the brioche program/ recipe is inedible.
A thing to note is if you want to make GF bread you cannot set and forget… It requires you to scrape the sides of the pan about 10 minutes into the program. If making GF it will not add fruit or grains though this dispenser either. But most importantly GF means you cannot put it on a time to wake to fresh hot bread in the morning.
Tried to make GF bread while I slept this morning (using basic bread recipe) and ended up with a loaf that was dense and about 2/3rds the size of the GF program loaf.
We bought the previous model in stainless steel body for $319 from Myer and extremely happy with the quality. Recommend this, very reliable product.
The next model up has a feature that puts in the yeast separately… it's that a useful feature?
$199.95 here for anyone following that didn't purchase already.
Can't comment about this particular breadmaker, but if you eat a lot of bread they're fantastic. Hands down the best part is the heavenly smell that fills your house while your loaf bakes.
