I believe its still the same warranty provided by Amazon. Thats what I was told and checked on Amazon with the refurbished units.
Not sure why Dick Smith or Big W aren't handling the clearance if they are still at the same price as they were at the respective stores? This is a stupid deal!!! Knock $20 off the price then maybe its a deal.

Surely there can't have been that many that were returned to Amazon in the USA, so they fixed them all (in India or somewhere?) and dumped them into Australia?
Perhaps there was a manufacturing fault, so Amazon recalled them and fixed it up?
I have a refurbed unit and it looks, and works, brand spanking new. I gave it a very close inspection and there were no evidence that it was a 2nd hand unit.
